Welcome to the Big Sur Jade Festival,
an annual benefit event, completely run by community volunteers. Big
Sur Jade Festival features the finest jade artists and gems in the
world, and the vendor area of the festival is legendary for the highest
quality jade art, and especially for the hand made jewelery from all over
the world on display and for sale; it is in fact a jade collectors
paradise. Big Sur Jade Festival is well known for it's quality music and family oriented atmosphere, held on the weekend preceding Columbus Day in October of each year at scenic Pacific Valley School on Hwy I overlooking
the southern Big Sur coast. With some of the most iconic vistas and
sunsets on earth, it is one of the most beautiful festival sites anywhere. Come for free and bring the family, join the morning
drum circle, eat some barbecue, and enjoy a glimpse of the southern Big
Sur way of life!
